Scope/Summary:
 
The scope of this project included the interior renovation on all four floors of the existing Learning Resource Center (LRC). The first floor scope included the relocation of the High Tech Center, an ADA accessible computer lab/classroom, from the second floor to first floor, as well as the relocation of bookshelves on the first floor. Modifications to the second floor included six new smart classrooms for the Language Department, a Language Lab (computer classroom), an open computer lab, a new faculty development room, a new Director’s office, tech office/storage, and a new interactive learning lounge. Third floor scope includes saw the relocation of bookshelves and furniture to the Re-shelving/Quiet Study room. Fourth floor improvements included the addition of a telecom room to support the newly renovated spaces. As part of this project, other building modifications included consisted of ADA upgrades for the first and second floor restrooms and drinking fountains, as well as absorptive acoustical treatments throughout the central atrium.
